Two years ago, WESP (Automotive) entered the truck and trailer market with WESP CV, alongside its existing passenger car market. With the recent launch of WESP Cycles, WESP now also supports two-wheeler businesses. This marks a new chapter for the growing WESP Group, and a reason to adapt the organisation to match.
‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH, OCTOBER 2026
WESP has made a change to its management, effective September. Bas Wintjes is handing over his role as Managing Director of WESP B.V. to Jeroen Koopman. Bas will take on the position of Group Director through WESP Services B.V.
The restructuring follows a period of significant growth. Alongside the existing WESP and WESP CV, WESP Cycles and WESP Services joined the organisation in September 2026. As Managing Director, Bas Wintjes laid the foundation for the position WESP holds today. In his new role as Group Director at WESP Services, he will be responsible for strategy and innovation across all companies in the WESP Group.
Jeroen Koopman succeeds Bas as Managing Director of WESP B.V. from September 2026. Jeroen knows the automotive aftermarket well and has been Head of Data Solutions at WESP for several years. Taking over the day-to-day management of WESP (Automotive) is a logical next step for him. He will build on the foundation Bas leaves behind and continue to develop WESP with a growing team.
